A quiet house by the harbour, and a long breakfast.
We are a family-run inn of twelve rooms, three floors, and one very old staircase. Nobody rushes you out of bed here. The shutters open onto the water, the terrace smells of coffee and fig leaves, and the harbour is four minutes downhill.

Every room is different — a bath by the balcony, a bed under the beams, a window at the height of the masts. Each one comes with its own key.

Bread from the bakery on the corner, fruit from the market, eggs any way you like.

Take them down to the cove. Bring them back sandy — we expect it.

Four town bikes by the gate, with a map of the flat routes.

In every room and on the terrace. The sea is better.

A late checkout, when we can
Ask at breakfast. If the room is free, it's yours until two.
