Insurance & the sliding scale.

In network

Aetna, Providence Health Plan and Regence BlueCross BlueShield. Bring your card to the first session and we'll check your benefits together.

Out of network

I provide a monthly superbill you can submit for reimbursement. Many plans return 50–80% of the fee — worth a call to yours.

Sliding scale

A few weekly spots are held at $95–$140 for students, artists, and anyone between jobs. Just ask — no paperwork to prove it.

Questions, answered honestly.

The things people most often want to know before a first session. Anything else, ask on the free call.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to start. If something has felt heavy for a while, or you keep circling the same problem, that's reason enough. The free consultation is a low-stakes way to find out.

What happens in the first session?

Mostly talking and listening. I'll ask about what brought you in, your history, and what you'd like to be different. You can share as much or as little as you want — there's no test to pass.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. Online sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform for anyone living in Oregon or Washington. Many clients mix online and in-person sessions as their weeks change.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes, with a few legal exceptions — mainly if someone is at serious risk of harm. I'll walk you through these in the first session so there are no surprises.

How long does therapy usually take?

It depends on what you're working on. Some people come for eight to twelve sessions around a specific problem; others stay longer. We'll check in regularly about whether it's still helping.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations are charged the full session fee, though I'll always waive it for illness or a genuine emergency.

Questions about cost? Let’s talk it through.

Money is a fair thing to worry about. Tell me what you can manage and we’ll find something that works — including the sliding scale.
