For a lot of businesses WhatsApp is where the real conversations happen. This overlay puts a button in the corner of every page that opens a chat with your number, on the phone or in WhatsApp Web, with a first message already written.

A floating WhatsApp button on every page that opens a chat with your business number, with a prefilled first message.

Your business number in international format. The button opens WhatsApp's official click-to-chat link; nothing runs from WhatsApp on your page.

A button that gets out of the way.

  1. Opens a real chat

    On a phone it opens the WhatsApp app with your number and the first message ready to send. On a computer it opens WhatsApp Web. Either way, the visitor is one tap from talking to you.

  2. A first message you choose

    Prefill the opening line, for example "Hi, I found you on your website and would like to book". It can include the page the visitor was on so you know what they were looking at.

  3. Hours and a greeting

    Show a small greeting bubble the first time a visitor lands, and optionally hide the button outside the hours you actually answer.

  4. Styled by your branding

    The button takes your colours and corners, sits bottom-left or bottom-right, and never covers the skip link or your cookie banner.

How it will work.

  1. Enter your number On the Plugins page, add your WhatsApp business number in international format and check it with the test link.
  2. Write the first message Set the greeting bubble and the prefilled message, and choose the corner and hours if you want them.
  3. Switch it on The button appears on every page of your dev site and your live domain immediately. Nothing to republish.

Good to know

  • It is an overlay applied as pages are served, so it never edits your pages and switches off just as cleanly.
  • The button is a real link with a visible name for screen readers, reachable by keyboard, and it respects reduced motion.
  • Nothing from WhatsApp loads on your page. The link opens WhatsApp only when a visitor chooses to tap it.

Read every answer
Do I need WhatsApp Business?

No. Any WhatsApp number works with click-to-chat links. WhatsApp Business adds a profile and quick replies on your side, but the button does not require it.

Can I show it on some pages only?

Yes. Choose every page, or only the pages you name, for example the contact and services pages.

Does it slow the page down?

No. It is a small button and a link. No script from WhatsApp is loaded until a visitor taps through.
