Doors that stick, trim that gaps, hinges that squeak or sag.
A door that rubs or will not latch is almost always a hinge, a strike plate or a swollen edge. We find which one before we take anything off.
What the visit includes
- Hinges shimmed or re-screwed into solid wood
- Strike plates moved so the latch catches on its own
- Edges planed and sealed so they stay put
- Baseboard, casing and quarter-round cut and fitted
