An audio player for tracks in your Media Library, with a playlist, a transcript slot and controls that work for everyone.

Page section
Placed on a page by Max or in Edit mode, styled by your branding.

Upload audio files to your Media Library and pick one or several. Each can carry a title, an artist line and a transcript.

Sound, served properly.

  1. Served from your website

    Tracks live in your Media Library and play from your own address. No streaming service, no consent question.

  2. Labelled controls

    Play, pause, seek, volume and speed as real buttons and sliders with names, keyboard-operable, with the current time announced on request.

  3. A playlist

    Several tracks in a list with titles and durations, played in order or picked one at a time.

  4. A transcript slot

    Each track can carry a transcript shown under the player, which is what makes spoken audio accessible and searchable.

How it will work.

  1. Upload the audio Add tracks to your Media Library with titles.
  2. Add transcripts Paste a transcript for spoken tracks, or let Max draft one for you to check.
  3. Place the player Ask Max to add the player or playlist to a page.

Good to know

  • Audio never autoplays. It plays when a visitor asks.
  • Transcripts are part of the accessibility standard for spoken content, and the player is built to show them.
  • For podcasts with an existing feed, the Podcast Player plugin reads the feed instead.

Which formats work?

MP3 and the common web audio formats. The platform keeps the original and serves it as uploaded.

Do I need a transcript?

For spoken content, yes, to meet the accessibility standard. For music, a title and description are enough.

Can visitors download tracks?

Only if you switch that on per track.
