A brochure you can page through, with a plain version beside it.
A menu, a lookbook, a magazine, an annual report. Some documents were designed as spreads, and a flipbook shows them that way. This section turns a PDF or a set of images into one, and always offers the plain pages and the download beside it.

Flipbook

Pick a PDF and the platform renders its pages, or pick images in order. The flipbook, the plain view and the download all come from that.

From a PDF or images
Pick a PDF and its pages are rendered as images, or pick images in order. Either way the source stays in your Media Library.

Turns with a tap or a key
Pages turn by tap, swipe or arrow key, with the current page announced. The turn is a plain change for reduced motion.

A plain view, always
A "Read as pages" button shows the same pages stacked vertically, which is how most phones and all screen readers prefer them.

A download, always
The original PDF is offered as a download with its size, so the document is never locked inside the effect.
How it will work.
- Upload the document Add the PDF or the page images to your Media Library.
- Place the flipbook Ask Max to add it to a page and choose single pages or spreads.
- Publish On your dev site now and on your domain when you publish.
Good to know
- Each rendered page carries alt text, drawn from the PDF's text where it has any, and editable.
- Pages load as they are reached, so a sixty-page brochure does not slow the page.
- The flipbook is a presentation of the document, not a replacement. The plain view and the download are always there.

Read every answerIs a flipbook accessible?
The effect itself is not, which is why the section always offers the same pages as a plain stacked view and the original as a download, and describes each page with alt text.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, one page at a time with swipe, and the plain view is one tap away, which is often the better experience on a small screen.
Can visitors search the text?
The PDF's text is used for alt text and for the page's search index, so a visitor searching your site can find what is in the brochure.
