Your latest episodes, read from the feed you already have.

If you publish a podcast, you already have a feed. This plugin reads it, shows the latest episodes with their notes and a player, and adds subscribe links for the apps people use, so your website is the home your podcast never had.

Connected section
Placed on a page and fed by an official source, cached and refreshed.

Paste the feed address from your podcast host. The platform reads it on a schedule and plays episodes from where they are hosted.

The show, on your site.

  1. Read from your feed

    Episodes, artwork, notes and durations come from the feed your host already publishes. Publish an episode there and it appears here.

  2. A player per episode

    The same accessible player as the Audio Player plugin, with speed, seek and a transcript when the feed provides one.

  3. Subscribe links

    Buttons for the podcast apps, from the links in your feed or ones you add.

  4. A page per episode

    Optionally, each episode gets its own page with its notes, for sharing and for search.

How it will work.

  1. Paste your feed On the Plugins page, add the feed address from your podcast host and check the episodes.
  2. Choose the layout How many episodes, whether each gets a page, and which subscribe links to show.
  3. Place it Ask Max for a podcast page, or the latest episode on the homepage.

Good to know

  • Audio plays from your podcast host, so your download statistics there stay complete.
  • Episode notes are shown as text with markup removed, like any feed content.
  • Transcripts show when your host includes them in the feed.

Which hosts work?

Any host that publishes a standard podcast RSS feed, which is all of them.

Will it affect my download numbers?

No. Episodes play from your host's address, so plays are counted there as usual.

Can each episode have its own page?

Yes, with one switch. Each gets a page with its notes and player.
