Questions
Before your first class.
The things people ask at the desk. Anything else, call or email — a teacher will answer.
I've never done yoga. Which class should I take?
Start with Gentle Basics or Slow & Yin. Both move slowly and explain everything, and nobody will ask you to touch your toes.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just water and comfortable clothes. Mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets are all here and cleaned after every class.
How does the intro week work?
For $25 you get seven days of unlimited classes, starting the day of your first class. It's for first-time visitors and doesn't renew.
What if I'm late or need to cancel?
Cancel up to two hours before a class for a full credit. Doors close five minutes after the start so the room can settle.
Can I come if I'm injured or pregnant?
Usually, yes. Tell your teacher before class and they will offer a version of each pose. Prenatal is taught every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Is there parking?
Street parking on Alder is free after 6pm and on Sundays. The Seventh Street garage is two minutes' walk, and there's a bike rack by the door.
