Google, Facebook and Yelp, in one section.

Customers leave reviews wherever they happen to be. This plugin gathers the sources you have connected into a single section, newest first, with each review clearly marked as a Google, Facebook or Yelp review and linking back to it.

It uses the review plugins you have already connected. Connect one source or all of them; the section shows what is there.

Every source, one honest section.

  1. Combined, newest first

    Reviews from every connected source are merged into one list sorted by date, so the section always opens with the most recent.

  2. Labelled by source

    Each review carries the name of the platform it came from and a link to the original, so nothing looks like it was written for your site when it was not.

  3. One combined summary

    An optional header shows each source's own rating and count side by side. Ratings are never averaged across platforms, because they do not mean the same thing.

  4. Grid, list or slider

    The same layouts as the single-source plugins, styled by your branding.

How it will work.

  1. Connect your sources Set up Google Reviews, Facebook Reviews, Yelp Reviews or Tripadvisor Reviews on the Plugins page. Any one of them is enough.
  2. Enable the combined section Choose which sources to include, a minimum rating where the source has one, and the layout.
  3. Place it Ask Max to put the combined reviews on the homepage or a reviews page. It updates as your sources refresh.

Good to know

  • Each source keeps its own rules. Yelp excerpts stay short and link home; Facebook recommendations stay a yes or no.
  • Ratings are shown per source and never averaged, so a 4.9 on Google and a 4.5 on Yelp read as exactly that.
  • Disconnecting a source removes its reviews from the combined section the next time it refreshes.

Read every answer
Does it need its own connection?

No. It reads from the review plugins you have already connected. There is nothing new to sign in to.

Can I show an overall rating across all platforms?

Each platform's rating is shown beside its name. They are not combined into one number, because a Facebook recommendation and a Yelp star are not the same measure.

What if I only use Google?

Then the Google Reviews plugin on its own is the simpler choice. The combined section is for businesses with reviews in more than one place.
