The most-searched fact about a local business is whether it is open. This section shows your hours from your business details, marks today, says "Open now" or "Opens at 9", and handles the holiday you closed for, with the structured data search engines read.

Hours live in your business details with exceptions for holidays. Change them once and every hours section, and the structured data, follows.

Hours that are never wrong twice.

  1. One source

    Hours are kept in your business details. The footer, the contact page and the structured data all read from there, so a change is one change.

  2. Open now

    A line that says "Open now, closes at 6" or "Closed, opens tomorrow at 9", worked out in your time zone.

  3. Holidays and exceptions

    Add a closure or special hours for a date and the table shows it in advance, and "Open now" respects it on the day.

  4. Structured data

    Opening hours are included in your business structured data so search engines show them correctly.

How it will work.

  1. Set your hours In your business details, enter the hours for each day and any upcoming exceptions.
  2. Place the section Ask Max to add hours to the footer, the contact page, or both.
  3. Update in one place Change the hours in your business details and every section follows.

Good to know

  • The table is a real table with day headers, and today is marked in words as well as by highlight.
  • Split hours, such as closing for lunch, are supported per day.
  • "Open now" is worked out in your business's time zone, not the visitor's.

Can I set holiday hours in advance?

Yes. Add a date with different hours or a closure and the table shows it ahead of time.

Does it update Google?

It puts your hours in your website's structured data, which search engines read. Your Google Business Profile hours are edited on Google.

What about several locations?

Each location in the Store Locator plugin carries its own hours. This section shows the hours of the business as a whole.
