What is on, when, and how to get a ticket.

Classes, gigs, tastings, open days. This plugin keeps your events as rows, shows them as an upcoming list or a month calendar, gives each one a page, and marks them up so search engines can list them as events.

Events as content rows shown as a list or a calendar, with each event on its own page and structured data for search.

Each event is a row in your Content place. Past events drop off the list on their own; you never have to tidy up.

Events that keep themselves in order.

  1. Rows that expire

    Add an event once. It shows while it is upcoming, has its own page, and leaves the list when it is over. Recurring events repeat by rule.

  2. List or calendar

    An upcoming list for the homepage, a month grid for an events page. The grid is a real table with named days that works with the keyboard.

  3. Event rich results

    Every event page carries event structured data, so search engines can show the date and place under your listing.

  4. Tickets and reminders

    A button that links to your ticket page or booking form, and "Add to calendar" links for the visitor's own calendar.

How it will work.

  1. Add your events Open the Content place, choose Events, and add each one with its date, place and details.
  2. Place the calendar Ask Max for an upcoming events list on the homepage, or a full calendar on its own page.
  3. Let it run Past events drop off, recurring ones roll forward, and every event has a page you can share.

Good to know

  • Dates are shown in words as well as numbers, and time zones are handled so an online event reads right for every visitor.
  • Ticketing is a link to wherever you sell tickets. Selling tickets on the site itself is on the forms roadmap.
  • Events are exported with your website like every other content row.

Can events repeat?

Yes. Weekly, monthly, or on chosen days, with exceptions for a skipped week.

Can I sell tickets?

Each event can link to a ticket page or a booking form. Taking payment for tickets on the site itself is part of the forms roadmap rather than this plugin.

Can visitors add an event to their calendar?

Yes. Each event offers a calendar file and links for common calendar apps.
