A blog that people can reply to is a blog people come back to. This section adds comments to posts and pages, kept on the platform rather than at a comment service, with moderation in your dashboard and the same spam protection your forms have.

  1. Stored with your website

    Comments live on the platform beside your form submissions, not at a third-party service that tracks your readers and sells the data.

  2. Moderated by you

    Hold every comment for approval, or publish first and remove later. Reply as the business, and block an address that keeps coming back.

  3. Protected like a form

    The same honeypot, timing, rate limits and optional Turnstile that protect your forms protect comments, so spam stays out.

  4. Threaded and accessible

    Replies nest one level, each comment is a labelled article with a time, and the form is a proper form.

How it will work.

  1. Switch comments on Enable comments and choose moderation: hold for approval, or publish and review.
  2. Choose where All blog posts, or only the pages you name. Max can place the section on any page.
  3. Read and reply New comments arrive in your dashboard beside form submissions. Approve, reply or remove.

Good to know

  • A commenter gives a name and an email. The email is never shown and is used only to notify them of a reply if they asked.
  • Comments are exported with your website and deleted with it. They are yours.
  • Closing comments on a page keeps the existing ones visible and stops new ones.

Do readers need an account?

No. A name and an email address are enough. There is no sign-in and no third-party login.

How is spam handled?

The same way as your forms: a honeypot, a fill-time check, rate limits, and optional Turnstile. Held-for-approval moderation catches the rest.

Can I import comments from Disqus or WordPress?

Not in the first version. Import is a natural follow-up once the section is in use.
