If Instagram is where your work gets seen, your website should show it too. This plugin connects your Instagram account through Instagram's official API and keeps a grid of your latest posts current without you lifting a finger.

You sign in to Instagram once to grant read access to your own posts. The platform never sees your password and cannot post for you.

Your feed, kept current.

  1. An official connection

    Posts are read through Instagram's own API after you connect. No scraping, no embed codes that break, no one else's badge on your site.

  2. Grid, row or slider

    A grid for a page, a single row for the footer, or a slider. Choose how many posts and whether captions show. Styled by your branding.

  3. Photos, carousels and Reels

    Each post shows its image or video cover, opens on Instagram in a new tab, and carries your caption as its accessible name.

  4. Refreshed on its own

    New posts appear on a schedule. Delete a post on Instagram and it disappears from your site at the next refresh.

How it will work.

  1. Connect your account On the Plugins page, choose Instagram Feed and sign in to Instagram to grant read access to your account.
  2. Choose the layout Grid, row or slider, how many posts, captions on or off. Max can place the section on any page.
  3. Save Your posts appear on your dev site immediately and on your domain when you publish the page.

Good to know

  • Access is read-only and limited to your own posts. Disconnect it any time from the Plugins page.
  • Images are cached on the platform and served from your website, so the grid is fast and does not call Instagram for every visitor.
  • Instagram's connection expires periodically. The platform renews it while you remain signed in, and tells you if it cannot.

Do I need a business or creator account?

Instagram's API works with personal, creator and business accounts for your own posts. A business account is needed only for hashtag or mention feeds, which are not part of the first version.

Can I show a hashtag feed?

Not at launch. The first version shows your own account's posts. Hashtag feeds depend on a business account and Facebook review.

What if the connection breaks?

The section keeps showing the last cached posts and the Plugins page asks you to reconnect. Your website never shows a broken box.
