A lot of local news lives on a Facebook Page: the special, the closure, the event. This plugin brings those posts onto your website through Facebook's official API, so the people who do not use Facebook still hear it.

Your Facebook Page's recent posts on your website, read through Facebook's official connection and refreshed on their own.

Placed on a page and fed by an official source, cached and refreshed.

You sign in to Facebook once to grant read access to your Page's posts. The platform never sees your password and cannot post for you.

Posts, read the official way.

  1. An official connection

    Posts are read through Facebook's own API after you connect your Page. No scraping, no page plugin iframe that needs consent and slows the page.

  2. Text, photos and links

    Each post shows its text, its photo when it has one, and a link to the post on Facebook. Videos show their cover and open on Facebook.

  3. List or cards

    A vertical list for a news column or cards for a grid, with how many posts to show. Styled by your branding.

  4. Refreshed on its own

    New posts appear on a schedule and deleted ones go away. Nothing to copy across by hand.

How it will work.

  1. Connect your Page On the Plugins page, choose Facebook Page Feed and sign in to Facebook to grant read access to the Page you manage.
  2. Choose the layout List or cards and how many posts. Max can place the section on any page.
  3. Save Your posts appear on your dev site immediately and on your domain when you publish the page.

Good to know

  • Access is read-only and scoped to the one Page you choose. Disconnect it at any time.
  • Posts and photos are cached on the platform, so the section is fast and no visitor is sent to Facebook unless they click.
  • Because nothing from Facebook loads on your page, the feed needs no consent banner entry.

Why not use Facebook's page plugin?

The page plugin is an iframe that loads Facebook on your website, which needs consent and slows the page. Reading posts through the API gives you the content without either.

Can it show a personal profile?

No. Facebook's API gives access to Pages you administer, not to personal profiles.

Does it post anything?

No. The connection is read-only.
