Let a reader pass the page along, without tracking them.

A menu, a blog post, an event page: the pages people want to send to someone. These buttons share the page through each network's ordinary share address, the device's own share sheet on a phone, and a copy-link button, and load nothing from any network.

Social Share Buttons

Share buttons for a page that use each network's plain share link, plus copy-link and the device share sheet, with no tracking scripts.

Choose which networks to offer. Each button is a plain link to that network's share address; no share script is loaded.

Sharing that costs the reader nothing.

  1. Plain share links

    Each button opens the network's own share page with the address and title filled in. No script from the network runs on your site, so nothing is tracked and nothing slows down.

  2. The device share sheet

    On a phone, one button opens the native share sheet, which offers every app the visitor has, including the ones you did not think of.

  3. Copy link and email

    A copy-link button that confirms in words, and an email button that opens a message with the page ready to send.

  4. Placed by Max

    Ask for share buttons at the end of blog posts, or on the menu and events pages, and Max adds them with your branding.

How it will work.

  1. Choose the networks Pick which to offer and the order. The share sheet and copy link are always available.
  2. Place the buttons Ask Max to add them to the pages that people send to each other.
  3. Publish On your dev site now, on your domain when you publish.

Good to know

  • No share counts are shown. Counting requires each network's script, and the buttons deliberately load none.
  • Every button has a spoken name and works from the keyboard.
  • Sharing uses the page's own title and description, the same ones search engines and messaging apps see.

Why no share counts?

Counts come from each network's script running on your page, which tracks your visitors and slows the page. These buttons are links, so there is nothing to count with and nothing to track.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. On a phone the share sheet button opens the device's own sharing, which includes every app installed.

Which networks are included?

Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Pinterest for pages with an image, email and copy link at launch.
