Placed on a page and fed by an official source, cached and refreshed.

Paste the address of a public RSS or Atom feed. The platform reads it on a schedule, so nothing loads from that site on your page.

A feed, read safely.

  1. Read by the platform

    The feed is fetched by the platform, not by the visitor's browser, so the source site never sees your visitors and cannot run anything on your page.

  2. Titles, dates, and a line

    Each item shows its title, date and an optional summary, linking to the original. Feed content is treated as untrusted text and shown as text.

  3. How many, how fresh

    Choose how many items to show and how often to refresh.

  4. Several feeds

    Add more than one feed and show them separately or merged by date.

How it will work.

  1. Paste the feed address On the Plugins page, add the feed and check that it reads correctly.
  2. Choose the layout How many items, with or without summaries, and the refresh interval.
  3. Place it Ask Max to add the feed to a sidebar or a news page.

Good to know

  • Feed content is shown as plain text. Any markup or script in a feed is stripped, which is the point of reading it on the platform.
  • If a feed stops responding, the section keeps the last items it read and the Plugins page tells you.
  • Your own website publishes an RSS feed of its blog already, which this plugin can show on another of your sites.

Which feeds work?

Any public RSS 2.0 or Atom feed. Feeds that require a login are not supported.

Is it safe to show someone else's content?

The platform reads the feed and shows titles and text only, with all markup removed. Nothing from the feed runs on your page. Whether you may republish a feed's content is a question for that feed's terms.

How often does it refresh?

On the interval you choose, from every hour to once a day.
