For businesses that still post news on X, this plugin shows those posts on your website through the official API, as real text in your branding rather than an embedded timeline that loads a script and needs consent.

Your recent posts on X on your website, read through the official API and rendered as plain, fast, accessible text.

Connected section
Placed on a page and fed by an official source, cached and refreshed.

You sign in to X once to grant read access to your own posts. The platform never sees your password and cannot post for you.

Posts, without the timeline widget.

  1. An official connection

    Posts are read through X's own API after you connect. No embedded timeline, no script from X on your page.

  2. Rendered as text

    Each post is shown as text in your branding, with its date, links, and any attached image, and links back to the original on X.

  3. List or cards

    A column for a news sidebar or cards for a section, with how many posts to show.

  4. Refreshed on its own

    New posts appear on a schedule and deleted ones disappear. Replies and reposts can be excluded.

How it will work.

  1. Connect your account On the Plugins page, choose X Feed and sign in to X to grant read access to your posts.
  2. Choose the layout List or cards, how many, and whether to include replies and reposts. Max can place the section on any page.
  3. Save Your posts appear on your dev site immediately and on your domain when you publish the page.

Good to know

  • X's API has limits and costs that the platform manages by refreshing on a schedule rather than per visitor.
  • Because no script from X loads on your page, the feed needs no consent banner entry.
  • Access is read-only and can be disconnected at any time.

Why not embed the X timeline?

The embedded timeline loads X's script on your page, which needs consent, slows the page, and looks like X rather than your website. Text through the API does none of that.

How often does it refresh?

On a schedule the platform sets to stay within X's API limits, typically several times a day.

Can it show another account or a search?

Not at launch. The first version shows your own account's posts.
