Creating your account

Signing up takes a minute and doesn't ask for a card. You get a Free plan to start with, which is enough to build your first website and see it on a real address.

Signing up

The registration form asks for four things:

• Full name — yours, not your business's. It's how the app addresses you and how teammates recognize you later.
• Organization name — your business. This becomes your organization (see below); putting your real business name here saves renaming it afterwards.
• Email address — where your verification link, receipts, and account notices go.
• Password, twice — at least 8 characters, with upper and lower case, a number, and a symbol. Passwords that have turned up in a known data breach are refused, which is occasionally annoying and always worth it.

You can add a passkey or two-factor authentication afterwards under Settings → Security, and sign in with the passkey from then on.

If you arrived from an invitation link, the email address is filled in for you and can't be changed — the invitation is tied to that address. Signing up accepts the invitation, so you'll have access to the organization that invited you alongside one of your own.

What your organization is

Everything in Max AI Builder hangs off an organization rather than off you personally. Your organization owns the websites, holds the billing details, and is what teammates get invited into.

You never have to create one by hand — signing up makes one for you, named after whatever you typed in Organization name. For most people, one organization is the whole story: your business, your websites, your card.

You'd want a second organization if you keep genuinely separate books — an agency building for two clients who each pay their own bill, say, or a side business you'd rather not mix in. Create one from the organization switcher in the top navigation, and use the same switcher to move between them. Each organization has its own websites, its own plan, and its own members.

To invite someone, open your organization and add them under Members. They'll get an email invitation; accepting it gives them access to that organization's websites.

Verifying your email

After registering, we send a verification link to the address you gave. Until you click it, the app holds you on a short page with a Resend verification email button rather than letting you into the dashboard.

This isn't ceremony. Your email address is how you recover the account, where billing receipts arrive, and where notices about your published website go — so we make sure it reaches you before anything is built on top of it.

If the email hasn't arrived after a minute:

• Check the spam or promotions folder; it comes from Max AI Builder.
• Press Resend verification email. The newest link is the one that works.
• Make sure the address you typed is the one you're checking. If it has a typo, log out, register again with the correct address, and use that account instead.

Click the link and you land on your dashboard, ready to build.
